Alan Turing pardoned posthumously — this is way overdue

Finally, an attempt to correct a gross injustice:

Far too little, far too late.  Still, it’s welcome.

  1. Ah! I caught the end of a discussion on NPR today about Turing and his death (including suspicions he was killed by the British intelligence services as a potential leak) and kind of wondered why the subject came up … except in relation to our own abuse of gays. Now I understand. It was, is and always will be one of the great injustices done to one of the greatest heros of WWII.
